Yuga Labs, creator of the acclaimed Bored Ape Yacht Club collection, has sold the rights to NFT- Moonbirds collection from Orange Cap Games.

Today, that changed with their acquisition of the Moonbirds IP. Moonbirds deserves a team that sees the world as a bird, and there is no one better than Orange Cap Games to help them reach their potential, Yuga Labs said.
In May, Yuga Labs is selling its rights to popular collections for the second time. Earlier this month, the company transferred the intellectual property to NFT-collection Cryptopunks non-profit foundation dedicated to preserving digital art. In February, another company was given the right to hold Meebits non-fungible tokens.
These sales are in line with Yuga Labs’ new strategy, with the team shifting their focus to the Bored Ape Yacht Club collection and the Otherside metaverse project.
We’re focused on Bored Ape, Otherside, and something special we have in the works,» wrote Yuga Labs co-founder Greg Solano.
