Volume of sales NFT blockchain-based Polygon has been growing since November 2024 and reached a record high of $2 billion in May.
In November last year, this figure was $16,3 million, and by December it had increased to $20 million, in January 2025 — to $25 million, and in February — to $37 million.
Sales growth NFT continued in the spring — in March this figure exceeded $62,5 million, in April — $71 million, and in May — $74,7 million.
From March to May, the number of monthly transactions NFT online exceeded 800,000. The number of unique buyers also remained high throughout the year, peaking at 134,000 in February. Additionally, the average sale price rose to nearly $89 in May, up 242% from about $26 in November and December 2024.
Increase in non-fungible token transactions in Polygon during 2025 was primarily tied to Courtyard. According to analytics platform CryptoSlam, most of the sales volume NFT of the network was tokenized RWAs associated with Courtyard. Courtyard’s lifetime sales volume exceeded $277 million.
