Technical Director Ripple David Schwartz has captured the attention of the crypto community with his own creative take on what his Wikipedia page might look like.
Instead of the traditional format, Schwartz chose a satirical style and various exaggerations, which gained viral popularity.
As a result, his biography included some extremely outstanding “achievements” with references to the crypto industry. In particular, he wrote about an accidental invention XRP while working on a vending machine, on solving complex consensus errors with Diet Coke and telepathy, and explaining the design XRP Ledger the dog who now leads DAO.
He then went on to describe, rather wryly, how he designed NuDB in his head during an investor meeting, solved the blockchain trilemma during his lunch break, and how he was mistaken for a time traveler due to his prophetic tweets.
His literary experience was a great success among supporters of cryptocurrencies of the social network X, which is banned in Russia. Some users actively discussed the jokes and satirical turns of phrase that they liked, while others praised Schwartz’s creativity, recognizing his contribution to the development of blockchain technology. Meanwhile, developers refrain from calling the distributed registry Ripple blockchain.
