House Representative Marjorie Greene, an ally of US President Donald Trump and suspected of insider trading, has invested in Bitcoin.
Journalists found out that in October 2025, the congresswoman invested:
- Up to $30,000 in BTC sharesETF iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT);
- Up to $105,000 in stocks of Adobe, Amazon, Exelon, Novo Nordisk, Tesla and United Parcel Service.
Green bought shares bitcoin ETF On October 9, before the BTC price crash, and on October 15, when the cryptocurrency’s price corrected after the dump. Since then, the digital asset has fallen by more than 3%, so the derivative investment resulted in unrealized losses for the politician.

Possible moments for purchasing BTC shares-ETF Marjorie Greene
Marjorie was suspected of insider trading after she purchased shares in several companies before Trump paused his plan to impose high tariffs, triggering a bull market. Donald had been pushing to popularize Bitcoin, for example, by ordering the creation of a U.S. government-backed Bitcoin fund. Therefore, speculation arose that Greene had invested in bitcoin ETF, knowing about the imminent resumption of the upward trend in the cryptocurrency market.
However, the congresswoman dismissed the accusations, calling them ridiculous. According to Marjorie, her investment portfolio is managed by a manager who successfully bought shares of companies at rock bottom, allegedly thanks to his experience and professional qualities.
